Deposit I can accept
a $200.00 deposit by paypal (please add 3% for paypal fee's) to my
e-mail address or a money order by mail with a confirmation number. I
can not hold a puppy without a deposit. I don't accept personal checks
for a deposit or for pickup. If you have a deposit I will occasionally send you new
pictures so you can see them grow. I do not refund deposits if you
change your mind. I will apply your deposit to another puppy within one
year if you choose, but you must let me know that you want to do this.
Registration All
of my babies are sold on limited AKC registration only, unless you make
it known to me before or at time of pick up that you want full
registration. An additional charge on most puppies is required.
Shipping
I
will ship a puppy if necessary. I prefer that you make a visit here to
pick up your puppy. You can also make arrangements for me to deliver
your puppy. I generally charge $50 per hour I have to drive. If the
distance is too far and the puppy must be shipped the fee usually runs
$300. Airline fees keep changing though so we would have to check the
ratesat the time you would be picking up your pup. The fee includes a vet check, health certificate, crate, and airfare.
Extras When you pick up your
puppy you will get a puppy packet with a toy or blanket with the
siblings smell, a sample of food, shot and de worming record, health
guarantee with basic puppy care instructions, and registration papers
if applicable.
If I feel your puppy
is ready to go by 8-9 weeks of age and you can not pick him/her up, I
do charge $3.00 a day for care. Except if he/she is being shipped and I
can not ship right away. If your puppy is
small, it will not leave here until I feel it is big enough and in this
case the extra per day charge will not apply.
If you would like the
puppy vet checked before pick up let me know and I can get that done,
but you will be required to pay the fee upfront. I generally take my
dogs to the vet only when I feel I do not have the knowledge or means
to help them myself. I have spent many years raising dogs and have a
lot of experience. I have also taken a veterinary technician course.
That said, I do all vaccinations, dewormers, flea treatments, and any
other medication myself. I check ears, temperature, weight, feet,
posture, etc. When there is a problem out of the ordinary is when I
take my dogs or puppies to the vet. I've experienced lots of things
and recommend that you do take your puppy to the vet for any concerns once you get it.
I
give vaccinations starting at 8 or 9 weeks old. If you are having me
keep your puppy longer or you would like to come back for the scheduled
vaccinations I will charge $10 per vaccination. I have also done
microchipping in the past and that runs $25, however, with my recent
relocation I am not currently providing that extra service. I may
begin to do that again in the future.
